We do not routinely contact patients with normal results. The receptionist staff will contact you, if asked to do so by the clinical team, for results which require follow-up.
If you are concerned about your results, and haven't heard from us in 7 days, please call the surgery after 10.00 am. The reception staff are not qualified to comment on results but can pass on any comments from the doctor or arrange a follow-up appointment if required.
To ensure patient confidentiality the receptionist will confirm your identity and may refuse to release the information if they are not satisfied they are speaking to the correct person.
